Week 13: Final Blog

Yay this is my last blog on the project and probably on blogger! This project was somewhat a success, but also a fail because we passed by going to as many restaurants around the OC area, then the fail of the project was that  we failed in making a website, making a yelp and then we started with three people and ended with two people. I believe that we did a pretty good job on presenting it and that my partner Marrissa was a good motivator by telling me to be calm and just go through the presentation. During the presentation I got pretty nervous, but I was still confident enough. This project was a great experience for me because I learned many tactics to present and somewhat helped the community by making them see whats around them and let the tourist see when they visit Anaheim. The only thing I disliked about the project to me it was still pretty boring and there was no motivation going down the stretch. So this is my last time I am probably using blogger!

Week 12: Fire+Ice

This past weekend I went to a restaurant called Fire + Ice located in the Anaheim Garden-walk by Disneyland. When I got there I got impressed  from the outside and then the atmosphere inside of it is pretty great. When I got there I made  the Carbonara which has Alfredo and Italian seasoning. The good thing about Fire and Ice is that you get to make your food in the market inside the restaurant and you get to fill it up, then you get to choose your seasoning and sauces, after you go to the grill and you get to watch the chefs cook in front off you. I give this place a A rating and a 10 rate score. The good thing about this place is theirs always events in the restaurant like Salsa Night, Happy Hour, Collage Night and DJ in the weekend. Then the only bad thing is that there are different prices for dinner, lunch and brunch and for the adults, and kids.

Week 11: Farmer Boy's Farmer Burger

This weekend I went to Farmer Boy's but instead of going to breakfast I went to go eat lunch. Their I got to eat the Farmer's Burger which is a fresh burger that has fresh ingredients from bun to bun. This hamburger made me get full that I couldn't eat the fresh cut fries that came with it neither. When I tasted the burger it was farm fresh inside of the burger it had a two fresh buns, fresh lettuce, fresh sliced tomatoes, pieces of onion, crisp pickles, American cheese, 3 pieces of bacon, avocados, dressing and a charbroiled patty. Farmer Boy's is known for this burger because it has been an award winning burger for a couple years already. Again this place has great service and wonderful employees because they are so friendly to the customers. In the rate of the restaurant I give it an A+ like always and I give the burger a rate of 10 in the scale.

Week 10: In-n-Out 3x3

This past weekend I went to In-n-out in Fullerton and when I got there I decided to get something unique which was the 3x3. I believed the this menu wasn't real and people lied about it and I was scared to ask the cashier, but when she actually put it in the machine I was surprised. This burger has the same ingredients as the double except this one has an extra patty. This makes the burger bigger and tastier. The cost for this burger is around four dollars and you can get this burger as a combo. This burger makes you full that you cant finish the fries. The In-n-out I went to was full like usual and it was still somewhat clean but their was a couple of trash in the floor. I believe that In-n-out makes the best burgers and I give them a 10 out of 10 on the scale.

Week 9: No Food

This past weekend I didn't go out to eat because I didn't have any money to buy food  and my parent's didn't want to give me money to go out or they didn't want to take me out. But this coming weekend I am going to a restaurant that I haven't gone or try a new dish that I haven't eaten there. Then I will continue with what I'm doing with the blogs or make them a bit better. This will help me see the different tastes of the OC and not just the regular foods that are around the country. I plan to start getting information about  different restaurants or the different types of foods that people love. Then I predict to start making my blogs similar to theirs by giving them honest rates so people won't be surprised the dish if they are interested by it. So I believe that I will go to different restaurants so people will get more interested on the different types of restaurants when visiting the OC boundaries.

Week 8: Duke's Chili Cheeseburger

This weekend I went to my brothers baseball game and after it finished we went to a restaurant called Duke's Hamburger in Santa Ana. There I got a chili cheeseburger combo that came with fries and a fountain drink for a cost under 6 dollars. I personally believe that the burger is way better than a McDonald's or Carl's burger, because of the great taste from Dukes. The burger has chili, pickles,lettuce, fresh patty on two buns. The environment in the restaurant was very clean from the floors to the tables that even the "A" in the front of restaurant. The restaurant doesn't only sell hamburgers but it sells other different types of plates. The employees are very nice and well organized. Out of everything I give the burger a good 9 on a 10 range scale because of the great taste of the chili cheeseburgers and then the to make it better the fries are soft when you take a bite.

Week 7: McDonald's Big Mac

Last weekend after church my sister and I went to McDonald's for lunch. When I got there I had ordered a Big Mac this burger has two beef patties, yellow American cheese, ripped lettuce, diced onions, pickles and topped off with their secret sauce on three buns that split the patties. The first time I got this burger I was expecting a bigger burger like the commercials. This burger takes me two to get filled up, that's why its pretty small. This burger has a total cost meal of $5.69 which comes with a soda and french fries. Out of everything I give the burger a 7 because how I was expecting it to be bigger and the taste isn't that convincing. The atmosphere was not that sanitary because their was trash on the floors and the table was sticky do to the syrup that is served in breakfast. Then the fountain drinks area isn't that well organized because the tops are all over the place and there was ketchup on the counter top. I really don't like that personally because it makes you uncomfortable to eat there. The good thing about it is there is a play place for kids to play around.
